Dan Peisert
Director, Finance  

Mr. Peisert brings more than 9 years of experience in finance and analysis of healthcare companies to Marathon. Prior to joining the company, he worked as a financial analyst and portfolio manager covering healthcare with an emphasis on specialty pharmaceutical companies for Magnetar Capital and UBS O’Connor. In these roles, Mr. Peisert was responsible for extensive due diligence and modeling, primary market research and direct investments into publicly traded and private companies.

Prior to Magnetar, Mr. Peisert worked at UBS Warburg for two years as a controller and at PricewaterhouseCoopers for two years as an auditor. Mr. Peisert is a graduate of the University of Minnesota where he received a BA in accounting, is a chartered financial analyst and was a certified public accountant early in his career.
